Hot dogs are huge and the price is really good also. Very fast service.

The arbor is always great however the experience was even better since the young man who served us was kind and polite and asked where our relatives were from when he heard a foreign language. More teenager should be like him, way to go young man.

I grew up going here with my family, and now that I have a family of my own we went back, (we currently live in Alberta so it was a big deal). They loved the foot Long's and the golden glow. Brought back a lot of great memories.

I didnt eat there no vegan options but my partners says it just doesnt taste the same last few yrs he has eaten there. Everything has changed not the same hot dogs they are so small nothing but bun, the golden glow taste different and the fries as well. Just given his honest review.

We usually thoroughly enjoy our visit to the Arbor, but today the hot dogs were over churned and the cucumbers and radishes looks like they've been left out in the sun too long. Used to be your favorite place to go to with the cost it's getting to the point where the trip isn't worth it

Been going there since the 50s and still love the food there. We travel over 2 hours for a visit and then go home. Go figure eh ? LOL For real.

Nothing special here. Famous hotdog a thing of the past. I grew up in the Brantford area and spent lots of time in Port Dover until I was almost 30. We would often drive from Brantford to Dover to get their delicious dogs. Large footlong wiener in a top split steamed bun with an array of great topping. Never liked the Golden Glow drink but the fries were pretty good as well but we went for those hot dogs. I happened to be in Dover this weekend and stood in a fairly short line waiting for my dog and fries. What a disappointment!! The wiener while still a foot long is a fraction of the size (around) that it once was. The bun was ok but with so little wiener in it - it seemed all bun. I threw away half the bun and ate it. I spoke with a friend who lives in Port Dover and apparently they changed years ago. Darn. It was once worth the trip to Port Dover. No more Arbour Hot Dogs for this family - we’ll go for the Perch and Pickerel dinners I understand they are still good.

I have been going here for over 50 years. I love their 12" hotdogs, french fries and the orange glow. This place offers the best selection of toppings for your dog of any place I've ever been. There are bins with cut up fresh tomatoes, radishes, onions along with pickles and all the usual hotdog items. The best part is you get to put whatever you want on it and as much as you want.

I must visit atleasr a couple of times each summer as have gone here since a child especially in my teens. The glow is not half as good as it used to be but it is a must place to go. So many good memories in Dover

Good fries

Classic old-style foot-long hotdogs, burgers and fries. Great location just walking distance to the beach. Outdoor seating available at the side, lots of parking. Wide selection of toppings that you help yourself to. Been coming here with my family since I was a kid & I enjoy it just as much now. Golden Glow is a must, and they have a variety of flavours other than orange. This is a summer destination tradition!

This is a high profile restaurant located in Port Dover. The team working at the food service windows were leaning on their elbows waiting for customers to place their order. We asked for their suggestions as to their recommendations on the selection of our menu items - the corn dog, fries and the Golden Glow was suggested.The Golden Glow was no different then any store bought fruit punch, the corn dog was freshly made and hot and the fries were freshly made and tasty.The business does not believe in using a cash register to handle sales....hmmm...I wonder why?

Great place during the summer. My family has made it a tradition to go down at least once a year for an Arbor Dog and a Golden Glow. Prices are a little steep if you're looking for fast food but the quality is amazing! Although they may need to consider expanding the sidewalk for lineups as it's quite the popular place. There is free parking right next door with a 1 hour limit, which makes it convenient, but if you're staying in the area for a while I recommend parking elsewhere and just waking.

If you are done in Port Dover you need to stop and have one of the dogs! It was tasty and affordable. Hope to make it back before summer is over! Great beach’

If you like a good Foot Long god or a hamburger and fries this place might be for you. You order at the window but what’s a bit odd is that there are different things at different windows!! The food was all tasty and reasonably priced. They also have their own drinks ‘Glows’ which are too quite good but could perhaps use some ice. If you are in the area its worth a try; while is just dogs and fries it’s kinda different and makes for a fun experience. Check it out!!

Best radish, zucchini relish, beet and corn relish hot dog ever.

The food was great, and it had a very nice atmosphere. Food and drinks were overpriced, but I guess that's to be expected from a tourist trap. Overall it was pleasant

Awesome hot dogs to eat beside the harbour. Excellent yet convenient management of social distancing when ordering food.

Cost of food is what you would expect for THE premium location of this beach side spot; however, the quality was just OK. Fries were decent but I found the burger to be rather tasteless. Paired with a beer after a day in the sun and a little buzz - it would definitely hit the spot though.

Best place to go for big weiners for your mouth. Good price too. I would avoid the shine drinks as the Golden is just watered down orange juice with pulp and the Swiss is watered down chocolate milk

I have being going here for many years and this year with all that is going on (Covid 19) they are still doing a great job, well organized, pleasant and we felt safe the whole time.

The employees are unkind.You have to wait in line but it isn't worth it.

Traditional annual trek to Port Dover for a foot long and a Golden Glow. Dog's were especially good this year. Then we stop at Hewitt's outside of Hagersville for a tasty ice cream cone.

I have only been here on Friday the 13th in Port Dover. As I understand this place has a long history. I found the service to be friendly however the lineups are quite longer when Friday the 13th fault as there are a lot of fun free motorcycle enthusiasts!I have only had the hot dog on fries and it seems pretty decent.

Awesome footlong hotdog. Live the new buns. Perfect to enjoy and not drop any toppings. Did not think you could improve on a perfect hot dog but apparently you can. Well done. Thank you

More fired food that anyone can eat but it's good the Erie perch and pickerel are a must but the big platter is the best deal and not overly greasy or two much batter. The celery bread is worth the empty calories FYI but everything else is at your own risk LOL if you're not eating hear you should eat at David's

Food came fast, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food itself was alright but I've definitely had better. Overall a nice place to eat at, with some seating provided.

Run of the mill overpriced hotdog, Frozen freezer flavour fries, the golden glow used to be the greatest, but now its like a cheap cool aid. Messy condiments area. Staff informed me that I was only allowed to use their parking lot for 1 hour! The nostalgia for this place has gone. We won't be back.

Paid $4.75 for the fries below, less 5 that I ate. Asked if this was a large size, told yet. See picture and judge for yourself. Thank goodness there is a Diary Queen up the road.... this estabilishment is owned by the Schneider family along with the Erie Beach hotel. Major rip-off

A very friendly young man served us, and asked where we were from as he heard a different language. So sweet, polite and respectful. The Arbour dogs were great too!

Well, it's a great location, theres no doubt about that. And for that reason, I wont complain about the prices, because $3.75 for a little fountain pop is outrageous lol. However, the food is just disappointing. Everyone was getting the hot dogs, perhaps that was my mistake when I got the burger. I'd never come back here, there's too many other great places to eat.
